'The Blend' Difference

The Terpenes

These fragrant oils, found in the flower’s sticky resin glands, act as the plant’s natural immune system, protecting it from bacteria, natural predators and environmental stresses. Terpenes play a large role in CBD’s medicinal and therapeutic effectiveness. Terpenes enhance a CBD’s effectiveness, helping reduce inflammation, calm the central nervous system and assist in bringing the body to homeostasis.

A big buzz word in the CBD industry is ‘The Entourage Effect’. This very beneficial effect happens when a cannabis/hemp product contains a combination of compounds that are naturally present in the plant. When this occurs, something magical happens; we do not end up with the sum of the parts but rather a multiplying effect. Several CBD companies claim to have The Entourage Effect, however that is not possible without having both an array of cannabinoids and terpenes. ‘The Blend’ contains a proprietary blend of 60 terpenes. These naturally healing terpenes work in conjunction with cannabinoids, allowing you to experience the true benefit and healing power of ‘The Entourage Effect’.

Sixty (60) terpenes have carefully been selected to enhance ‘The Blend’ making it a truly unique product that is superior to CBD alone. 5 most prevalent Terpenes found in this Blend are:

The Nutritional Drivers

The Blend has been enhanced with ,black seed oil, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, cardamon, peppermint and hemp leaf oil. Each of these nutritional drivers have their own set of properties and deliver a plethora of benefits to the body. Each one contains numerous terpenes , a ket factor in why the Blend delivers! Combined with all the cannabinoids present in The Blend, these drivers help increase the bioavailability and aid in the liver metabolism of CBD. These drivers help increase the absorption and utilization of CBD, maximizing your CBD experience!

Full Spectrum

‘The Blend’ is a true Full spectrum CBD containing all the cannabinoids and terpenes found naturally in the plant (even trace amounts of THC in very low concentrations) More commonly in the CBD market are Isolate products marketed as “full spectrum”. An isolate is an isolated compound (CBD in this case) that is extracted from and does not include the other cannabinoids and lacks the entourage effect.

This chart highlights the different cannabinoids and their benefits and address different health concerns. Studies between a full spectrum and isolated CBD show a full spectrum was more effective and provided greater relief. Research supports the use of full spectrum extract as a superior choice over CBD isolate.

What You Need To Know

What is CBD?

CBD is one of the hundred different cannabinoids in cannabis, proven to have a profound and beneficial impact on our health (as supported in the US National Library of Medicine/PubMed). Most people associate cannabis with marijuana and getting high. It’s important to understand that marijuana and hemp are two DIFFERENT plants from the same species. Medicinal hemp, naturally contains low levels of THC, and during the c02 extraction process, the small trace amounts are isolated and removed. Furthermore, in order to legally be sold, it can only contain 0.03 % of THC, making it undetectable in the system. In short, industrial hemp contains all the beneficial CBD compounds WITHOUT the THC, so WITHOUT the high. CBD is especially prevalent in the flowers, or buds, and to a lesser degree, the stalks and stems, so when buying you want to ensure you are looking for a full spectrum oil, not an isolate. . In 1992, one of the biggest medical breakthroughs was the discovery of the endocannabinoid system, which all living species with a back bone have! This endocannabinoid system is possibly the single-most important system within our entire bodies – responsible for maintaining homeostasis, if our endocannabinoid system is not functioning properly, the whole body could be at risk as it struggles to reach a state of homeostasis. CBD could possibly be the simplest, most effective route to reduce or eliminate pain, stress, disease and improving your overall health. Scientists have discovered over 100 additional health-promoting cannabinoids! These cannabinoids are chemical compounds that provide relief to symptoms such as pain, nausea and inflammation, they act as an anti- inflammatory, anticonvulsant, antioxidant and antipsychotic, helping the body with pain, inflammation, oxidative injury, stress and anxiety.

Is it safe?

CBD is completely safe and effective to be used by anything with a backbone! With pure, full spectrum hemp CBD, you experience all the cannabinoid benefits without the high, there is ZERO psychoactivity and little to no known side effects. Quality full spectrum CBD is considered to be safe and non-toxic for humans and pets, even at high amounts (ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22129319) “Several studies suggest that CBD is non-toxic in non-transformed cells and does not induce changes on food intake, does not induce catalepsy, does not affect physiological parameters (heart rate, blood pressure and body temperature), does not affect gastrointestinal transit and does not alter psychomotor or psychological functions. There is evidence that CBD may decrease insulin resistance and blood sugar control. For this reason, closely monitor your blood sugar while taking CBD. Blood thinning: CBD may increase the effect of drugs used for blood thinning (e.g. warfarin or heparin), please consult your healthcare professional. Suggested Dosage

Dosing CBD can be a bit tricky, why? CBD is not a one size fits all, what works for one person may be different to the next. It’s about finding the sweet spot. Starting out slow and increasing your dosage as you go along. CBD, unlike pharmaceutical drugs that work on the level of the symptoms, works at the level of the ‘systems’. It is CBD’s job to balance ALL your body’s systems (while attempting to achieve homeostasis), that’s quite the job! and because we are all very different, in size, genetic makeup, physiology as well as what conditions we are experiencing, it is impossible to give exact dosing suggestions. With no chance of overdosing, you can’t really mess this up! Your body may need to get adjusted or acclimatize to receiving the CBD, so be patient, you may not feel what you were hoping for right away, but rest assured the CBD is working! With The Blend, micro dosing is the most effective. What doest that mean? Less is more! Using 3-5 drops 2-3 x a day seems to be what works best for most people. Dosing CBD can be a bit tricky, why? How should I take it?

The most effective way to take CBD Oil is to hold it under the tongue for 60-90 seconds. This allows all the capillaries and blood vessels in the mouth to open and welcome the cannabinoids.

Is it legal?

[01:49, 3/24/2019] +1 (514) 473-6787: President Donald Trump has officially signed the 2018 farm bill, which legalized hemp — a variety of cannabis that does not produce the psychoactive component of marijuana — paving the way to legitimacy for an agricultural sector that has been operating on the fringe of the law. The farm bill is a sprawling piece of legislation that sets U.S. government agricultural and food policy for the country and is renewed roughly every five years. This version of the bill places industrial hemp — which is defined as a cannabis plant with under 0.3% of tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC — under the supervision of the Agriculture Department and removes CBD from the purview of the Controlled Substances Act, which covers marijuana. The law also “explicitly” preserved the Food and Drug Administration’s authority to regulate products containing cannabis, or cannabis-derived compounds.

Can I get high?

No, you will not get high on CBD extracted from the hemp plant. Hemp naturally contains minimal amounts of THC (less than .3% - as compared to marijuana which can contain up to 30% THC). THC is a cannabinoid responsible for the “high” or psychoactivity. During the extraction process of The Blend, the naturally-occurring THC is removed, leaving just a tiny amount to help create the entourage effect. So with all of the THC removed, you experience all the benefits minus the high!

CONDITIONS & SOLUTIONS

Acne
CBD oil- calms and soothes irritated skin. Reducing inflammation and redness

CBD appears to treat acne by inducing sebocyte apoptosis, and a number of other terpenes present in cannabis may offer complementary activity. Limonene has been shown to inhibit Propionibacterium acnes (at a potency higher than that of triclosan). Pinene also inhibits P. acnes, and linalool suppresses inflammation in response to acne. Authors of a 2014 study concluded that “findings suggest that due to the combined lip
ADHD
CBD regulates dopamine , clams the mind and racing thoughts.

The dopamine deficiency observed in ADHD patients can be balanced through cannabinoid therapy. High-CBD medicines may allow for more focus and concentration without the psychoactivity (NO THC)

“Cannabis appears to treat ADD and ADHD by increasing the availability of dopamine,” Bearman states. “This then has the same effect but is a different mechanism of action than stimulants like Ritalin (methylphenidate) and Dexedrine amphetamine
Addiction
CBD Oil is effective in treating withdrawal symptoms associated with various addictions.

Cannabidiol is thought to modulate various neuronal circuits involved in drug addiction. A number of studies suggest that CBD may have therapeutic properties that treat opioid, cocaine, and psycho-stimulant addiction, and some data suggest that it may be beneficial in nicotine addiction in humans. Further studies are clearly necessary to fully evaluate the potential of CBD as an intervention for addictive
Alzheimer's
CBD Oil protects the brain against neural circuits. Improves memory and learning, decreases inflammation and has beneficial antioxidant effects.

Endocannabinoid signaling appears to be “essential to a number of molecular and cellular events important for learning and memory.” 219 Characterized by a progressive mental deterioration that starts in middle or old age and linked to genetic, lifestyle, and environmental factors, Alzheimer’s disease results in loss of memory, language, and cognitive
Anxiety/ Stress
CBD oil , calms the mind (brain) and nervous system

The oral use of cannabis to treat anxiety appears in a Vedic text dated around 2000 BCE, 238 and it is one of the most common uses of the plant across various cultures. While THC can increase anxiety in some patients, it lowers it in others. However, CBD has been shown to consistently reduce anxiety when present in higher concentrations in the cannabis plant. On its own, CBD has been shown in a number of animal and human studies to lessen an
Arthritis
CBD oil relaxes and calms the respiratory system by reducing inflammation

The hyper responsiveness of the airways is accompanied by inflammation— something that cannabinoids can be very effective at reducing. 247 The conventional treatment of asthma remains problematic and often involves a combination of drugs with varying side effects. Research has shown that both CB1 and CB2 receptors are present in bronchial tissue and are involved in lung protection. The activation of CB1 receptors on nerv
Asthma
CBD Oil reduces pain and inflammation associated with arthritis.

A 2001 study demonstrated that cannabinoid receptors are involved in the nervous system response linked to arthritis and concluded that “these novel targets may be advantageous for the treatment of inflammatory pain.” 242 Research results suggest treatment with cannabinoids can also be effective for other types of inflammatory joint diseases such as gout.
